Their daughter Matilda Beaty, married Col John Boles of Fentress Coun ty, Tn.
Their son, David "Tinker Dave" Beaty, was in the Civil War, he was th e Captain
of the Independent Scouts (guerilla warfare). His brother in law Joh n Boles
