8. Joseph Sears SR Lovett ⁽¹⁾ was born in Jun 1865 in Blount County, Alabama. He died in Aug 1889 in Arkadelphia Cemetery, Alabama. Via the computer, a message from Joelle Gibson, 12 Jul 1999, subject: Lovett. She saw my response on William Duval Lovett. Her great grandfather was Joseph Sears Lovett, brother of William Duval Lovett, Jr. He married Leannah Callahan in Blount County, Alabama, and died three months before her grandfather, Joseph Sears Lovett, was born. Her grandfather didn't have a lot of information on his father's family. He said there was a sister who lived in Washington D.C. and sent him presents, and two brothers who moved to Florida. She is asking for whatever info I have to send to her on the Lovett family.

He was married to Leannah Sylvania in 1882 in Blount County, Alabama. Leannah Sylvania⁽¹⁾ was born in Blount County, Alabama. She died in Arkadelphia Cemetery, Alabama. Leannah Sylvania married at age 15, and was 18 in 1889, when her husband, Joseph "Jonas" Lovett, Sr died. Joseph Sears SR Lovett and Leannah Sylvania had the following children:
