Louis was the son of George Albert Fitzgerald and Kate Lovett Fitzgerald.

Louis was married to Doris Hudson, and the father of four children.

Louis was an ordained minister for the Church of Christ in Hudson, Florida, and was very good at it.

Louis and his wife, Doris, were in an automobile accident, and Doris got her leg broken, and Louis appeared to be alright. He had fallen asleep at the wheel and lost control of his car. He got out of the car to look at the damage, and had a heart attack waiting for the police to arrive.

Louis' funeral service was held at Placid Temple Church of God, Tuesday, 12 November 1991, at 2 p.m. Rev Raymond Crowley and Rev Woodrow Thomas were officiating the service. Louis was put to rest at the Oak HIll Cemetery, Lake Placid, Florida. Arrangements were made by Scott Funeral Home in Lake Placid, Florida.

Louis and Doris had four children:

Jerry Fitzgerald (married twice), ordained Minister - Church of Christ and Missionary
Charles Ernest Fitzgerald "Ernie" (married with no children)
Valita Fitzgerald, daughter, (married twice)
Louis Fitzgerald, Jr. (single)

Doris Hudson currently resides at Apt 18 Charleston Drive, Lake Placid, Fl 33862 (as of 1993)

He was married to Doris Hudson about 1944 in Hudson, Florida, Pasco County. Doris Hudson (1) was born in Hudson, Fl, Sumter County. (2) [Fitz.ged]
Doris Hudson married Louis Fitzgerald. They had four children:
Jerry Fitzgerald
Ernie Fitzgerald
Valeta Fitzgerald
Louis Fitzgerald, Jr.
Louis was an ordained minister for the Church of Christ, as well as his first born son, Jerry. Louis ministered in Hudson, Florida for many years and then moved away when his three older children were in their teens. They lived in Lake Placid, Forida until Louis' death.
Louis W. Fitzgerald and Doris Hudson had the following children:
