She was married to Steven D. Ashburn on 5 Feb 1900 in Overton, Tn, Fentress County. Steven D. Ashburn (1) was born on 15 Feb 1882 in Fentress County, Tn. (2) He died on 9 Feb 1973 in Fentress County, Tn. (2) He was buried on 12 Feb 1973 in Mt Union Miss, Bapt Church, Campground Cem, Fentress Co Tn.(2) [Fitz.ged]

Steve D. Ashburn is the husband of E. Belle Wilson, daughter of David Crocket Wilson and Miranda Catherine Bilbrey "Rindy", of Overton County, TN.

Marriage information: Married 5 Feb 1900, by W. J. Riddle, D.D., Overton County, Tn, their names are shown as Stephen Ashvern (not Ashburn, so it Ashvern was misspelled), and Miss Bell Wilson. Info found at LDS Family History Center, Overton County, TN records.

Steve and Belle Wilson Ashburn are both buried at the Mt Union Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Campground, Fentress County, TN.

Obituary: Margaret Pairlee Livesay, 74, Rt. !, Box 227A, Clarkrange, TN, died at Ft. Sanders Hospital, Knoxville, TN, on 22 JUl 1983.

She was born 15 Sep 1908, in Overton County, TN, and was the daughter of Steve Ashburn and Belle Wilson Ashburn.

She was a member of the Mt. Union Missionary Baptist Church.

Services will be conducted at 1 p.m., Tuesday, July 26, 1983, from the Mt Union Missionary Baptist Church with burial in Campground Cemetery, with the Rev Talmadge PHillips. Special music will be furnished by the Andersons.

Survivors include, one daughter, Mrs. Hasket (Betty) Walker, Clarkrange; two grandchildren, Tommy Walker, and Michelle Walker; two sisters, Vernie Ashburn Livesay, and Hattie Ashburn Taylor, both of Crossville, and two brothers, Herman Ashburn, Crossville, and Thurman Ashburn of Dayton, Ohio.

Bilbrey Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
