Kate Lovett was the daughter of William Duval Lovett Sr, and Melissa Harrison
Sears Lovett. She was born about 1855, and married a guy named Bob ? Bob was
a postmaster, and he was appointed Postmaster General in Washington D.C. under
President Wilson. Bob was disappointed because, since there was no civil service
in those days, he lost his post when the administration changed.
Kate Lovett was very good friends with Lois Wilson, who became her step-mother
after her mother Melissa Harrison Sears Lovett died in 1884, and her father married
her best friend, Lois Wilson.
Bob (1) was born about 1855.
