382. Aught Monroe Wilson ⁽¹⁾ was born on 25 Nov 1916 in Clarkrange, Fentress County, Tennessee.⁽²⁾ He died on 20 Mar 1986 in Rockwood Tn, Roane County.⁽²⁾ He was buried on 23 Mar 1986 in Shillings Cem, Roane County, Rockwood Tn.⁽²⁾ [Fitz.ged]

MY UNCLE AUGHT AND AUNT RUBY WERE MY FAVORITE UNCLE AND AUNT. I GRE W UP IN
MICHIGAN, AND WE WENT TO TENNESSEE EVERY YEAR FOR CHRISTMAS UNTIL I W AS 14
YEARS OLD. (MY GRANDFATHER DIED AND WE NEVER RETURNED FOR CHRISTMAS A FTER
THAT.) WHEN WE VISITED I ALWAYS WANTED TO STAY WITH AUGHT AND RUBY . EVEN
THOUGH THEY HAD FIVE KIDS OF THEIR OWN THEY LOVED US TOO, AND TREATE D US
SPECIAL WHEN WE VISITED. RUBY WOULD FIX US CHOCOLATE GRAVY AND ROC K US ROUND
AND ROUND INSIDE THE HOUSE. SHE WOULD ROCK US THROUGH THE LIVING ROO M AND INTO
THE BEDROOMS. I JUST LOVED STAYING WITH THEM AND THEIR FAMILY.

When Aught died he was laid out at Booth Funeral Home in Rockwood, Tn , he was
born 25 Nov 1916 and died 20 Mar 1986. Services were held at Post Oa k Baptist
Church, 2 p.m. Sunday, 23 Mar 1986. The officiating ministers were : Rev Billy
Joe Vitatoe, and Rev John W. Pair. Aught's final resting place was S hillings
Cemetery. The 23rd Psalm was printed on his death notice. "The lor d is my
shepherd, I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastur es, he
leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul, he leadet h me in the
paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk throu gh the
valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thy staff th ey comfort
me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies , thou
anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over. Surely, goodness, a nd mercy
shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the hous e of the
Lord forever.

He was married to Ruby Lee Stephens (daughter of Patrick Adams Stephens and Easter Lilly Hall) in 1935 in Fentress County, Tn. Aught Monroe Wilson and Ruby Lee Stephens had the following children:
