Why do we do this thing called GENEALOGY? - It’s a BUG – infection - you can’t stop – you yearn for more At the outset of this endeavor to do family research, it showed my unawareness or let’s say my lack of knowledge regarding genealogy. My ancestral knowledge was limited to the names of my Grandparents. Realizing I didn't know anything about their ancestors, or where they were born, who were their parents, maiden names, or any other family history and knowing these facts and details were absent from my old gray matter, I traveled to Salt Lake City to research my ancestors. I want my children to know their ancestral data and to be make available to my grandchildren and beyond thereby knowing who their ancestors were. |
